Social Media Community Manager Intern

Are you obsessed with finding and sharing stories online?  Do you want to learn how to leverage social media for a variety of industries?   We have recently expanded our product line to incorporate Social Media and Digital Marketing Services for our clients. 2Evolve Technologies has a fast paced work environment and we seek talented employees who crave learning new skills and aren’t afraid to tackle big projects.  As an intern you will get to work with closely with our Director of Marketing and our clients, while working on real projects that will help us grow.


Our ideal candidate is someone who walks into a room of people and can’t leave without making a few friends. Someone who is obsessed with social media and is creative and thoughtful when interacting with online communities and building relationships.

What You Will Learn:

  • How to create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar.
  • Relationship building with our customer’s online communities by maintaining Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media accounts on their behalf
  • How to track social media analytics using Sprout Social and other software, and report results and new ideas to our marketing team.
  • How to create compelling content that will be shared by influencers.
  •  How to create and manage social media ad campaigns and track their results
  • Assist our Director of Marketing in building and presenting social media strategy.
  • Plenty of additional opportunities in related projects.


What We Require:

  •  Junior or Senior studying; Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Journalism or other related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office.
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
  • Creative and Flexible.
  • Familiarity with social networking sites desired, but we will also train.
  • Interest in digital marketing techniques
  • Basic graphic design skills desired


We value all of our interns and go the extra mile to make sure you receive a learning experience that fits your career goals.  You will become extremely knowledgeable in online communication, a master of twitter (and Sprout Social manager), and understanding of the right tactics to combine online marketing with overarching outreach goals in a professional setting.  You will also learn how to work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with business leaders and other professionals in the marketing field.


This is currently an unpaid internship. Minimum of 25 hours per week is desired.
